From raw materials receiving through to finished product warehousing and shipping, Canature’s operations are full cap. Canature’s entire production system is managed through a central control platform that provides for manipulating, controlling and recording a huge range of production inputs and outputs.
Our unique wet meat mixing, blending and forming/shaping facility is the only facility InNorth America capable of producing analogue foods, allowing for the production of true functional foods. Additionally, Canature’s facilities allow for production of unique one-off products, infused with (liquid and dry) palatants, nutraceuticals, pre and pro biotics etc. as well as vitamins and minerals.
Due to our Western Canadian location with some of the lowest hydro and natural gas pricing in the world, Canature’s utility costs are amongst the lowest in the world, compared to other freeze-drying operations located in either the US or Eastern Canada.
Canature’s three packaging lines accommodate a variety of SUP pouches and bags ranging in size from 20 grams up to 3 kilos, and include a fully automated, robotic system bag filling stations. Total annual packaging capacity equals approx. 10 million pieces.
